Scouts have a wide and varied programme including normal Scout activities of camping, hiking, pioneering and skill development.

Scouts are active for the duration of School Terms and older Scouts will participate in regional and national events including Sionnach Adventures, The David Ainsworth Shield, and the Smythe Cup.

The Highlight of they year is the annual summer camp when the Troop will go on Scout Camp for a couple of days, sometimes travelling abroad.

Scouts take part in a myriad of activities from rock climbing to bowling.

The Troop is organised into smaller Groups called Patrols. With and older Scout (Patrol Leader) taking responsibility for organising some of the lesser activities.

Scouts also have a progressive badge scheme starting with Tenderfoot and finishing with the Chief Scouts Award
